9th Dak'Art 2010

Biennial of Contemporary African Art

Placed under the care of the Ministry of Culture and Francophonie of the Senegalese Republic, Dak'Art has the objectives of: Supporting and encouraging creativity, promotion, diffusion, artistic training and art education in Africa; promoting the African artists internationally; encouraging the integration of the contemporary African Art into the international Art market, and contributing to the development of art criticism in Africa and publications on art and contemporary African artists.

Dak'Art 2010 will take place from 7 May until 7 June 2010, featuring as main events:

- The International Exhibition of Contemporary African Art

- Individual exhibitions of African artists and Diaspora artists

- Meetings and Exchanges / Films Projections about contemporary art

- Animations in the Village of the Biennale
