The images belong to some of the first immigrants to arrive to Denmark in the 60s.

The father of Tallat Shakoor arrived to Denmark from Pakistan. His images centre around daily events such as work conditions, social activities, family life and cultural experiences of a Danish-Pakistani family.

Farouk Haffar arrived to Denmark from Lebanon. He later became a succesful business man and the president of the Lebanese Society in Denmark. Here, exploration of new areas and social events are in focus.

Bashy Quraishy also arrived from Pakistan to become a prominent human rights activist with many international contacts. Politics and internationalism are main topics in his images.
