5th Meeting Points Festival

The 5th edition of the Meeting Points Festival takes place on an unprecedented scale, involving Amman, Damascus, Beirut, Ramallah, Cairo, Alexandria, El Minia, Tunis and Rabat as well as Brussels and Berlin. Over a seven-week period starting on 1 November 2007, around one hundred theatre and contemporary dance performances, some fifty visual art exhibitions and forty-eight nights of film screenings will establish zones of creativity and bridges of exchange.

Organized by the Young Arab Theatre Fund, an international Brussels-based organisation that supports talented young individuals as well as emergent cultural spaces, Meeting Points 5 is under the artistic direction of Frie Leysen, assisted by Maha Maamoun.
