Venice Biennial 2007: Pavilion of Lebanon

For the first time, Lebanon is officially present with an own pavilion at the Venice Biennial, one of the most important international art events.

The exhibition "Foreword" is located in the former Birreria Deher on Giudecca Island. It is curated by Saleh Barakat & Sandra Dagher, and shows works by Fouad Elkoury, Lamia Joreige, Walid Sadek, Mounira Al Solh, and Akram Zaatari.
