2nd International Stone Sculpture Symposıum
Call for applications

The symposium will be organized by the Süleyman Demirel University Fine Arts Faculty as an international art event between the 4 June and 6 July 2007 on the university campus. The participating artists (a total of 10 sculptors) will be chosen by a jury appointed by SDU Fine Arts Faculty, based upon the evaluation of the artists’ application portfolios.

SDU will pay the equivalent of 2000 US Dollars (for materials consumed, labour, copyright and other expenses) to each of the artists completing his or her work on time in accordance with the terms. The material to be used is marble (limestone).

Accomodation charges shall be covered by SDU. Economy class (arrival-return) transportation expenditures of the artists participating in the symposium from abroad will be covered by the Symposium Organization.
