Video Art from Central Asia

Old New Routes exhibition and publication explores the nomad specificity of countries in Central Asia after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Presented at BizArt Center in Shanghai, China, from 12 - 20 January 2008, it is meant to deepen and open up the process of cultural exchange between China and Central Asia, focusing on video art production from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
