International Artists' Residency Karachi 2008
Call for submissions

VASL (which means "to come together" or "a meeting point") is an artists'-led collective that has been running workshops and residencies in Karachi for the last 7 years.

This year, the International Artists' Residency is scheduled to take place from 15 September - 26 October under the title "Diasporics", centered on artists working in the diaspora. VASL invites applications/proposals from artists of Pakistani, South Asian and Middle Eastern origin, whose art practice is based on ideas of belonging and displacement.
